Five original vintage postcards showing costumes of Madeira, each mounted behind card. The fronts of two of the postcards are in excellent condition, bright and fresh. A third is also bright, but has some light spotting visible on close inspection. A fourth postcard is still very good, but perhaps the colours have dulled a little. The last card has perhaps also dulled slightly, and there are two small patches of wear towards the upper part and a light crease at the top corner. This is the card at the bottom left of the image. There is no writing on the backs of the postcards, but there is variously some browning or spotting to the card. The five uniform mounts are all in excellent condition. Size (of postcards) approx. 13.5 x 8.5 cm. The postcards are undated but are probably 1920s or 1930s.
