The Club 3D CAC-1080 is a DisplayPort1.4 to HDMI2.0b active signal converter. It supports HDR video quality for the playback of Deep Color media content. The DisplayPortreceiver supports up to 5.4 Gbps per track over 4 tracks. The HDMIoutput is fully compatible with the HDMIspecification version 2.0b. The CAC-1080 is backward compatible with previous DisplayPortand HDMIversions, but this can affect functionality and/or supported features such as HDR.Resolution supportThe CAC-1080 supports UHD resolutions up to 4096 x 2160p at 60Hz.Color formatsIt supports RGB / YCbCr video formats with a color depth of 16 BPC (or 48 bits per pixel) as long as it fits in the DisplayPortand HDMItape bandwidth. The CAC-1080 also supports pixel encoding of RGB or YCbCr4:4:4 in YCbCr 4:2:0 and YCbCr 4:2:0 pass-through functions.
