The neckline and armholes are finished with bias binding, and the dress is closed with an invisible zipper up the centre back. View A has an unlined gathered dirndl skirt that can be cut on the length of grain, or on the cross grain, for use on a border print or for fabric with a finished selvage like eyelet. The skirt is topped with large rectangle patch pockets. The waistband and pockets can be cut on grain, or on the bias, as pictured with the gingham fabric in the photos.
