Founded in 1552, and receiving its first Royal Charter in 1553, notable alumni include Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Charles Lamb, Leigh Hunt, and more. Written by former pupil Edmund Blunden, a poet and author who was known for writing about his experiences in World War I. Illustrated with a frontispiece, and seven plates, all black-and-white.
