'Chess' Cushion This cushion is from the interiors range from Day Birger et Mikkelsen. The cushion cover itself is made from cotton and the cushion pad is made from duck down. The design on the front face of the cushion is made in a patchwork format so the alternate black and off white pieces are sewn together as opposed to the pattern being printed on the surface of the fabric. The reverse of the cushion is the plain unbleached cotton. The cover has a zip fastening so, if you need to extract the inner pad in order to clean the cover this is easily achievable while also being a hidden zip so not obtrusive.
