An extensive exploration of the life and work of the English painter, lithographer and designer Charles Conder (1868-1909), a key figure in the Heidelberg school of art. Also included is a catalogue from an exhibition of Conder's works in Millbank Gallery, 1927 and a bill of sale dated 1914 for 4 signed lithographs by Conder, illustrations of which are in the book. There are light pencil marks referring to these 4 works on the ffp and on the list of illustrations.
