Tasting Notes Chairmans Reserve Spiced Rum uses the same blend as the Original Ruma mix of light and heavy rums from both Coffey column stills and copper pot stills aged separately in ex-Bourbon barrels for an average of five years married together and then matured in oak for a further six monthsinfused with Caribbean fruits and spices such as cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, vanilla, allspice and citrus peels. Probably the mostexcitingbotanical used is the bark of the Richeria Grandis tree, an aphrodisiac known locally as Bois Bandé meaningstretched wood(so no prizes for guessing what thats rumoured to do).
