The Briton 1413E Outside Access Device is available as knob operated. The euro profile cylinder is NOT included. The Briton 1413E is designed to allow outside access on all rim panic latches. The knob is secured to the outside access device by a special shear screw designed to fail if the lever has been tampered with for example vandalised or break in ensuring the mechanism is protected from damage. The shear pin can be replaced with ease. The old version of this device is no longer available, so if you are changing to the newer version the screw holes will be in different places so you will need the adapter plate to cover the old screw holes.
