Tasting Notes This is a new release from Bowmore with a distinctively harmonious character. What makes this particular bottle so special is its aging process, having been matured in hand-selected Oloroso Sherry and ex-Bourbon casks with an Oloroso Sherry seasoned cask finish. This cask combination brings a rhapsody of flavours, starting with aromas of caramel, red berries, marzipan, icing sugar and hints of dried fruit. On the palate, you start with sweet spice and nuttiness, with ripe pears, lemon drops, cinnamon, toasted almonds and peaches in syrup with ever increasing smokiness.
