Of the 5 beautiful 'living models' 3 are in good condition and two are slightly damaged. From 1929 to 1949, Giraud produced sixteen children's annuals using the name Strand Publications and Bookano Stories. His books were referred to asliving modelsbecause each scene unfolded in a double-page spread, which was designed to be viewed from multiple angles, much like many modern pop-up books. This book has 13 stories, 7 verses and 5 living models (or pop-ups) and 4 coloured illustrations. Including 'Hereward the Wake', 'The Rose Fairy' and 'An Apple a Day'
