This book is a bound compilation of various essays and reports linked to Christianity. They include 'The Ascent of Man' by Henry Drummond, a Scottish evangelist, biologist, writer and lecturer, who gives his take on Evolution. This is followed by an Encyclical letter from the bishops of the Anglican communion, with resolutions and reports, in the aftermath of the Lambeth Conference of 1920. The third text is 'Christianity and Industrial Problems', a report of the Archbishops Fifth Committee of Inquiry, and finally 'The Evangelistic Work of the Church' a report of the Archbishops Third Committee of Inquiry. The books have been bound into a single volume, with no contents page or date of binding. The book is in good condition, with notable but minor wear to the outer edges of the external cover. Internally the pages are clean and the binding secure.
