An early history of Bolton Wanderers Football Club, with articles, photographs, and tables. Also included are numerous advertisements for traders in the town. Grey soft wraps, slightly faded and with a few minor marks. The textblock is stapled together, with the wraps glued on; the staples are rusting, with leakage through the rear cover in two spots. The first and last pages are a little torn next to the staples, common with this type of binding, but everything is holding well. There is some discolouration to textblock edges, and the odd finger mark inside, otherwise clean, apart from an owner's name on the first page. Included is a compliments slip from the Advertisers and Blackshaw, Sykes and Morris, the publishers and printers of the book. The slip is moderately foxed, but its presence within the book has not caused any offsetting. Unpaginated. Size 24.1 x 18.9 x 0.9 cm.
