A wire helix in the hose prevents it kinking or collapsing even when bent through a tight radius. The silicone construction has a very high heat threshold so it can be used in close proximity to extreme heat sources such as exhausts or brakes without damage. Also included in the kit is a spun aluminium inlet which is designed to maximise airflow. A pre-cut adhesive round pad is supplied to mount the inlet to a panel.
