The AST-17 comes equipped with a protective sheath containing a ventilation hole allowing the unit to be used as a stirrer whilst simultaneously displaying temperature. The sheath also attaches to the end of the unit to extend the handle length. This unit offers data hold, auto off after 1 hour of inactivity and an IP-54 protection rating.
