The layered mesh and synthetic leather supper is secured by traditional laces and two sets of bungee cords. One is integrated into webbing straps that surround the eyestay, the other is fed through metal speed hooks affixed to the sneaker’s side panels. Lightweight cushioning arrives via a full-length EVA midsole with ASICS’ visible Gel technology in the heel.
