Scaled down antique carriage, with amazing detail. Horse-drawn carriages were a necessity for families and businesses from the 18th century up until the early 1900s. The carriages came in a large variety of styles and sizes, some were used for the sole purpose of transporting passengers and products, while others were elegantly made for the upper class. Often these carriages were designed with two or four wheels, with the weight playing a major role in how many horses were required to draw it. This beauty is not for kids though. See what you think. If You're interested, generally but not universally, a cart has two wheels and a carriage has four with half the weight of a two wheeled cart carried by the horse. Carriage overall measurements 73 cm x 23 cm x 29 cm approx. Front wheel diameter 14 cm rear wheel diameter 18 cm. Weight 1.2 kg approx.
