Gibson about a young girl and her fantastical adventures in the guineapig inhabited Guinland, with charming illustrations by H. R. Millar. Monochrome frontispiece and twenty-three monochrome plates. Inspired by Lewis Carroll's 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'. In the publisher's original burgundy cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Externally very good with only minor marks. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages. No foxing. The good dust wrapper is chipped at the head and foot of the spine with a larger section torn away at the front lower corner.
