On a journey through Spain in the 1950s, Pietro Annigoni and Alex Sterling each recorded in their own particular medium, the various the various landscapes and people as they saw them. Annigoni painted, and Sterling photographed; the paintings and photos are juxtaposed. The book starts with introductions by the two artists; the remainderis composed of the picture plates. Pietro Annigoni (1910 - 1988) was an Italian artist, portrait painter, fresco painter and medallist, best known for his painted portraits of Queen Elizabeth II. Condition. Book: Fair to poor. The pages are clean, no tears, but foxed and slightly yellowed, throughout. A previous owner bookplate is affixed to the front paste-down. The bright red hard cover is tightly bound and clean, with a small amount of fading top and bottom of the spine. Dust jacket: Fair
