Annigoni painted, and Sterling photographed; the paintings and photos are juxtaposed. The book starts with introductions by the two artists; the remainderis composed of the picture plates. Pietro Annigoni (1910 - 1988) was an Italian artist, portrait painter, fresco painter and medallist, best known for his painted portraits of Queen Elizabeth II. Condition. Book: Fair to poor. The pages are clean, no tears, but foxed and slightly yellowed, throughout. A previous owner bookplate is affixed to the front paste-down.
