Andy Warhol Polaroids We stocked the full size version of this book a couple of years ago. This compact version covers the same period of Warhol's polaroids - 1958-1987. One of Warhol's fascinations was celebrity and that, alongside, his own celebrity led him to multiple encounters with other stars; many of whom he photographed with his polaroid camera. The earlier ones are less starry; they include self portraits and pictures of fellow artists. By 1969 there are actors such as Dennis Hopper in the mix as well as photographs of Warhol's mother. By the 1970s we see David Bowie, John Lennon and Yoko Ono. The last photograph in the book is another self portrait. The images are accompanied by a timeline and there is an introductory essay by Richard Woodward. Hardback. 192 pages. Measurements: 14.5cm x 20cm x 1.4cm
