Alice's Adventures in Wonderland:- Published in 1904. The "People's Edition". Forty two illustrations by John Tenniel all present. Pale green illustrated buckram boards with black titles to upper boards and to spine, the latter being very worn. All edges worn and corners bumped. Fraying to extremities of spine. Lower board is slightly grubby with small stains. Book plate to front paste down, several previous owner's names and other pencil markings to front endpapers. First few pages have a small liquid stain ( gradually diminishing) to the base of the gutter. Two crayon marks to page 17 and pgs. 115 and 121 have been scored and that the edge of page 115 is slightly damaged. Rear hinge is cracked with net exposed . Original bookseller's stamp to rear free endpaper. A complete and well used copy. Through the Looking-Glass:-Published in 1903. Same format as above in green, red and black , "The People's Edition".
