This tape is a polyisobutylene-based self amalgamating electrical tape which is designed to up to withstand 17kV. It is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, alkalis and temperature variations, making the tape highly versatile. The tape excels in marine-based work or in large scale media satellite dish cabling. The thin film backing can be stripped off cleanly and easily. With an impressive elongation of 600%, a breaking load of 20 N.cm and a service temperature of -30 to 100C, the ape is extremely robust.
