The Simpsons x adidas ZX 1000 ‘Flaming Moe’s’ takes inspiration from a potent cocktail featured in a classic episode of the long-running animated series. The retro runner carries a purple mesh upper with tonal suede overlays and bright red three-stripe, all outlined in heavy black lines for a distinctive cartoon aesthetic. Midfoot overlays are made to resemble burning flames, while Moe Szyslak’s namesake beverage is recreated on the sneaker’s lace jewels. ‘Flaming Moe’s’ tongue tags complete the homage. Lightweight cushioning is provided by an EVA midsole, reinforced underfoot by a two-tone rubber outsole with adidas’ signature Torsion bar.
