Abilities of health care institutes for managing genetic diseases : LAP Lambert Academic Publishing : 9786205509074 : 6205509075 : 06 Oct 2022 : The survey refers to the medical genetic activities performed in the Visakhapatnam district from 7th June 2019 to 6th April 2021. A descriptive cross-sectional survey of a representative sample of institutional health facilities from Visakhapatnam district, Andhra Pradesh, India was conducted. The district has a total of 597 Sub Centers (SCs), 82 Primary Health Centers (PHCs), 12 Community Health Centers (CHCs), 3 Referral Hospitals (RHs), 2 Area hospitals, 3 District Hospital (DH), 4 Medical Colleges (MCs) (1 public and 3 private) distributed in four divisions, namely, Anakapalli, Paderu, Narsipatnam and Visakhapatnam and these all were selected for the survey by covering all divisions.
