As you may be aware we are big fans of James's work and have commissioned him to work on a couple of projects for us. His style of illustration lends itself particularly to infographic work. There are 5 other books in the series but this one is about Art. It deals in a roughly chronological (and Western biased) order with artworks from cave painting through to pop art. As well as an overview of the developments of art through this span of time it also gives insights into some of the processes used in creating art including that of lost wax casting.
