Designed by Willabel Tong, illustrated by Phil Wilson, this is a US First Edition (1998) of a unique crossover between a children's pop-up book and a good condition in respect of the the four large pop -up (double spread) pages, which stand up well The upper edge of the cardboard pop-ups shows some dog-eared wear-and-tear. The pop-ups are cross-sections of the dolls house, showing a grand hallway with staircase leading up to a landing with bedroom doors, a decorative reception room (china cabinet, piano, drapes) with a dressing room and bathroom above it, a dining room with large bathroom above, and a kitchen with range, utensils, table and a bedroom above. There are two press-out cards that are images of residents of the house (to scale), adults, children, housemaid, larger toys such as rocking horse etc. These have never been removed from their cardboard template (see photos 7&8).
