While you may have forgotten the skills that you gained while getting your knots badge in the scouts or guides this book will refresh your memory and mean that instead of improvising a knot when you are tieing up your washing line you can refer to this tome . . . My current most referenced knot is the one for securing picture cord to hooks on the back of a picture frame and my Youtube watching history is seriously skewed as a result.
