Earthenware Jug and bowl from Topferei (Potter) BECK in Soufflenheim, Germany, manufactured between 1970-1973 by Leon Beck (Deceased 1976). Hand made (thrown) and then fired by traditional wood fired kilns used at the pottery. Style of glaze of the items is typical of the Elsass (Alsace) region with the floral design typical of the works produced at the Beck pottery, examples of which are on display at the Folklore Museum In Basle, Switzerland.
