Due to its glass-fiber reinforced polyester housing (protection type IP65), the 1-pole mechanical body thermostat with changeover contact is very robust and can also be used under harsh conditions. The measuring system used works according to the principle of liquid expansion and can be used without any problem up to a maximum admissible sensor temperature of 50 °C. The spiral sensor of stainless steel is attached to the side of the housing. The maximum permissible ambient temperature on the housing is -40 to 40 °C in temperature class T6 or max. 70 °C in temperature class T4. The case is attached using 4 screws directly on the lower part of the housing. The desired shutdown temperature can be easily adjusted with the help of a screw driver after removing the cover on a scale. This temperature monitor has a high switching point accuracy of +/-2 K in the average scale third. The installed temperature compensation reduces ambient temperature influences at the switching head to a minimum.
