This competition air filter is designed to specifically fit Formula Ford race cars with Weber twin choke carburettors. The tapered design allows it to fit Formula Fords including those with air scoops. This is accomplished by providing a three layer 'Trifoam' system, with the outer two layers filtering drawn air and the inner manufactured from self extinguishing filter foam providing a safety vital aspect designed to reduce damage to the filter should 'blowback' from the carburettor occur.
