It was late autumn when, as usual, I revised the weather forecast for the week, as autumn is an opportune time for photographing the Birdway in Finland. To my surprise, the forecast promised almost perfect weather for the coming night. I immediately got the idea that I wanted to take my storm lantern with me to Kopparnäs and compose it in a picture with the Milky Way.
