Designing a technical shell garment for ski touring it is all about finding the sweet spot between light weight, weather protection and ventilation on one side, and durability and detailing on the other. On the Senja W 3L Pants we have balanced out the requirements by combining two different types of the excellent shell material, Dermizax®NX. A lighter quality covers the back calves and upper front, and a more sturdy, durable and protective quality is placed on the seat, thighs, knee and front leg. Both of them offer excellent weather protection and wicking abilities. Long vent zips with three pullers along the leg sides, makes it easy to tune in the optimal level of ventilation. These zippers also make it possible to take the pants on and off with your boots on. Velcro adjustment flaps at the waist provides easy tuning of the waistline, even with gloves on.
