The AnyBus X gateway connects a PROFIBUS network to a Modbus TCP network, enabling seamless information flow between the two networks.FAST I/O DATA TRANSFER BETWEEN TWO NETWORKSThe X-gateway is primarily intended for the transmission of cyclic I/O data between the two networks, thus relieving the PLC of additional tasks. The gateway is a master in the PROFIBUS network and a server in the Modbus TCP network. Data transfer is transparent and up to 512 bytes of I/O data can be transferred in any direction.SIMPLE COMMISSIONING - NO PROGRAMMING REQUIREDThe connection between the two networks is configured with the AnyBus Configuration Manager software. No programming knowledge is required for this.
