With the IO-16 Bricklet 2.0, bricks can be extended by external digital inputs and outputs (I/OS).The Bricklet has 2x 8 I/O channels that can be configured independantly as inputs or outputs. Each input can also be configured as a pull-up or interrupt source. The I/O voltage can be switched manually between 3.3V and 5V*. The I/O channels are guided to the outside via screw terminals with additional GND connections. An additional screw clamp leads the selected voltage to the outside.Switches, buttons and LEDs can be connected in typical applications.The Bricklet has no galvanic separation to the Tinkerforge system. This means that there is a direct electrical connection between the terminals of the Bricklet and the rest of the system.
