Modern medicine and biology studies are becoming overly complex. As a result, modeling and simulation are increasingly being used as a strategy that helps in understanding and predicting the pathophysiology, disease genesis, and disease spread for clinical and policy decisions. Modeling and simulation refers to the use of a physical or logical representation of a given system to generate data and helps in making decisions about a system. Computer modeling and simulation are playing an important role in the field of medicine and biology. There are different types of simulation. First, educational simulation makes use of simulation models for purpose of educational training. Simulation can also be used for gaining experience in different skills such as diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of disease. It may also be used for making decisions, implementing policies, and planning strategically. Additionally, simulation may also be used for investigating complex processes, through hypothesis
