These residual pressure valves are perfect for use on many off-road applications but also street rods and drag racing. These valves retain a minimum brake line pressure which helps to eliminate excessive brake pedal travel. The 2lb (blue anodised) valves are best used for disc brake applications usually where the master cylinder is below the horizontal plane of the calipers, and fluid drainback occurs. 10lb (red anodised) valves are used for drum brake systems to compensate for the return spring tension.
