It was the large long-distance train that Magirus sent on the streets of Europe with its tried-and-tested Deutz diesel. Wiking presents the Magirus 235 D with the characteristic Trans-European cabin in contemporary design with aluminum platform structure. The Magirus's front-wheel drive generation was presented at the IAA in 1963, and thanks to the air-cooled, reliable Deutz engines, it quickly entered numerous freight forwarders.
