Protective covers for most makes of approved recessed downlights. Spot Guard is made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide plastic PA6/195°C which is V(0) rated and passes the filament test of 950°C, verified by Intertek. The plastic is self-extinguishing, meets fire safety requirements and is recyclable. The covers may be covered with insulation. Remember to follow the fixture manufacturer's installation instructions and our recommendations for maximum lamp output according to the table.
