Characteristics of the Recessed Aluminium Profile for Plasterboard with Continuous Cover for LED Strip up to 20mm The profile incorporates a continuous cap of up to 10 metres to enable 1 metre lengths of aluminium to be joined together to form a continuous strip of profile.  The built-in continuous cover is translucent or opaque to provide a frosted effect which slightly reduces the light intensity but in exchange we get less glare and the LEDS inside are not visible.
