PYLONTECH High Voltage 48V Lithium Batteries are a special High Voltage battery model. Each battery operates at 48V, therefore, to achieve High Voltages we must connect several batteries in series to increase their total voltage and thus be able to work with high voltage inverters, which as a general rule, require a minimum battery voltage of 180V to operate. A maximum of seven high voltage batteries can be connected in series per separately sold Pylontech BMS module. The smallest high voltage battery system that can be installed is four High Voltage Batteries and one BMS that will fit neatly into a U16 Battery Rack. If you wish to install more batteries, a larger rack would be required.
