Ayvalik Oyster Grey Peshtemal This peshtemal is woven in Turkey. In summer months a peshtemal makes an excellent towel; they dry you and they also dry out quickly. In colder months I still appreciate the cosiness of a traditional towel but from spring to autumn there is definitely a place for this more lightweight alternative. They are also a really useful thing to take on holiday with you; again they take up very little space and can double up as a sarong or scarf. The grey ripple pattern of this weave is offset against the cream base colour of the fabric. The weave on this peshtemal is slightly thicker than the standard flat peshtemals. Made from OEKO TEX certified non GMO cotton it is traditionally woven, naturally soft and absorbent.
