Black painted stainless steel outdoor wall lamp PH3-2 1/2 The outdoor wall lamp PH 3-2 1/2 fits perfectly into the series of pendant, wall, table and floor lamps with three-shade system, whose first design by Poul Henningsen dates back to 1925/26. The ambition of the Danish designer, architect, writer and journalist was to create lamps with glare-free light emission, whose light cone is directed directly downwards to the right spot. With the lighting company Louis Poulsen - the producer of the lamps - a lifelong cooperation resulted until Poul Henningsen's death in 1976. The shade of the outdoor wall lamp PH 3-2 1/2 consists of an upper segment with a diameter of 30 cm as well as two shade segments of the model 2 1/2 below. Wall arm and shades are made of stainless steel and were painted black, which makes the lamp almost universally combinable.
