Homematic IP Keypad - the smart door lock solution The Homematic IP Keypad comes with many practical functions. With it, access to your own four walls is possible at any time. Multiple access codes can be set up, which can additionally be linked to individual time profiles. Codes can also be defined for controlling the light and the garage door. Up to 8 access codes can be defined via the app, they must consist of at least 4 to 8 digits. These can either be permanently valid or linked to specific times and days of the week, which comes in handy for vacation homes, for example. Thanks to an integrated proximity sensor, the keypad of the keypad is automatically illuminated when approached, which is particularly advantageous in the dark. Battery powered and easy to install, the keypad can be conveniently installed next to the front door and has no wires that could be sabotaged.
