The LED pendant luminaire Caboche Plus media by Foscarini is a true design classic, even though the series was only developed in 2005 by Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto. The two were driven by the desire to create a lamp with the sparkling fascination of a pearl bracelet. This is implemented in the Caboche series by means of PMMA spheres, which surround the entire exterior, refract the light and enchant the room with impressive lighting effects. Caboche Plus media is equipped with a hand-blown glass diffuser, which emits the light gently and directly downwards. Part of the light is emitted from the spherical beads and their interstices to the sides as a sparkling effect.
