Foscarini Magneto – futuristic LED table lamp with magnetic adjustable head The Magneto LED table lamp from Foscarini exerts a strong attraction in the truest sense of the word. From a technical point of view, it is extremely streamlined and purist. A spherical supermagnet made of rare earths that connects the base to the head serves as both the central element of this table lamp as well as the technical gimmick. Rare earths, also called rare earth elements, include the 17 chemical elements from Group 3 of the periodic table and the lanthanides. The magnetic sphere serves as a joint, which enables the head, made of fully-dyed ABS, to be moved to different positions and heights at any time. One side of the base bar, made of steel coated with epoxy resin, is fitted with grooves, in which the magnet ball is integrated perfectly.
