But over time, Dr.Martens yellow welt stitch and heel loop have become a symbol of nonconformist attitude. To celebrate the 60th anniversary, they created a new collection that pays tribute to our core DNA — by cranking it up to the max. This 1460 boot is kitted out with not one, but two yellow stitches through the welt, and built from Smooth Slice, a raw-edged leather with yellow backing.
