Open source compact control RevPi Compact based on the Raspberry PiThe RevPi Compact is a space-saving, compact open-source control system based on the Raspberry Pi 3+ Compute Module. For connection to sensors and actuators, the device has eight digital and analogue inputs as well as eight digital and two analogue outputs. Numerous interfaces are already on board as standard: Two Ethernet interfaces each with their own MAC address, in order to integrate the compact control simultaneously in two separate networks, four USB A, one HDMI as well as a 4-pin RS485 interface. Modbus TCP/RTU devices can be connected directly. The quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM of the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3+ offers high performance and efficiency. The operating system is a customized raspbian with a real-time patch and a process image. Applications can be created directly in Python, C or Node-RED. Optionally, professional control software such as CoDeSys or logi.CAD can be used (at an additional cost)
