Present compilation on Madhunashini - (Gymnema sylvestre R. Br.) is an important anti-diabetic climber belonging to Asclepiadaceae family and also called as "Sugar Destroyer". It has ability to combat diabetes at any stage. Freshly leaves of Madhunashini is chewed to be cure hyperglycaemia and hypoglycemia due to its anti-diabetic property.
