Koyomi Araragi was turned into a vampire by the legendary vampire, Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade, and he needs to revive the weakened vampire back to her complete form to return to being human again. After befriending Tsubasa Hanekawa voice of Yui Horie, Koyomi Araragi Hiroshi Kamiya, a student at Naoetsu High School, learns of the existence of vampires and meets one when he discovers Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade Maaya Sakamoto dying in the aftermath of an attack by vampire hunters. She gives Koyomi the chance to save her by giving her his blood, but his sacrifice transforms Koyomi into her vampire servant, duty bound to help his new master hunt down her attackers.
