Original poster mounted on linen. Color lithograph. 28 1/4" x 20 3/8" This stark World War I poster is for "Clothes Collection Week" sponsored by the American Red Cross. The drive aimed to collect "used or new clothing, dresses, underwear, shoes - wearing apparel of every kind" to send to "destitute men, women, and children in Occupied Northern France and Belgium". The collection week ran from March 25 - March 30. This poster is in good condition, with some wear to margins. Library notation 'Lewis 369' lower right
