Toccara began writing poetry at the age of thirteen. She is not only a writer but an advocate for the community in which she was raised and surrounding areas. She has interned at safe haven homeless shelters and food pantries throughout Waukesha area. Her passion is working with the homeless population that mainstream society often ignores. Toccara seeks to offer inspiration and motivation to our most vulnerable populations. Toccara received an Associate degree in human services from Waukesha County Technical College in 2015. She received a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ottawa University in 2017. Currently she is pursuing a Master's degree in Arts & Leadership at Ottawa University. Among her other accomplishments she also holds certificates for youth care worker and developmental disabilities
